There was a dragon on my block last year!

When all the leaves had fallen and the faint glow of the streets lights were on, I could see a dragon in the tree down the block from my back door. The branches formed in such a way that it looked like a Chinese dragon with the mane and everything, even down to the large eye! I wonder, considering how the tree has grown during the spring and summer, if he will be back this year? All the leaves are not gone yet so I am waiting to see if he reappears--I hope so!
Do you see shapes in the bare branches of winter trees? What do you see?

Last night I saw the dragon again, the leaves had finally all dropped and there he was!
Bare trees can be depressing if you let them. I choose to appreciate their beauty. The trees have settled in for a long winter's sleep and will awaken in the spring in all their splendor. Meanwhile, they entertain me with their branches that form shapes and pictures. I also hang bird feeders from them and enjoy watching those lovely creatures from my window.

hi dragon54u I thought I was the only one fancying that I
saw shaped in the bare branches of trees.a tree across the
street has some slim branches that have grown,or blown in
such a way that they shaped a perfect heart. Now that the
leaves have all fallen on that tree, I saw that heart shape
there again lately. Wish we had a tree with a dragon shape,
that would be fun too. I get a large charge out of that tree
around Valentine's day, and wish someone else could see that
heart there. he he

If you have a digital camera, you could take a picture of it and put it on one of those places that pay you for how many people download it. You could make some money on Valentine's day!!
Remember when we were kids when we'd lay on the grass and see animals formed by the clouds? There's no time for that anymore. My own kids were rather impatient with it when I first pointed it out to them, the world was starting to move so fast in the late 80's when they were born. But wasn't it a wonderful time and didn't we have so much fun that way?
