i've been searching for the right answer on the web and i found it and i just want to share to all of you: the best time to perform bodybuilding or weight lifting/body weight exercise depends to your goal you want to achieve, if you want loss fat with muscle gain-working out first in the morning on an empty tummy is advisable hence our glycogen level are low it will be easier for our body to use the fat stores for energy. now, for muscle gain-traninig in the aftenoon offers the advantage of a higher glycogen level created by the multiple meals consumed thus the result is more energy to push harder during workout..

hi bart, of course in the morning..my husband work out every other day after he took coffee.he do it before breakfast time so it is better to exercise when your stomach is empty..loss more sweat and his arms are more firm and strong.i like his shoulder and back of course i always want to lay down on his shoulder.

I really don't care what time I get my workout in. I care THAT I workout. I always try to listen to what my body is telling me. If I need an extra recovery day I take it, if I feel like I can do more I do more, If I don't have enough energy to do as much as I wanted to I back off. I mix up the things that I do as well. I don't just lift weight, and being female my goal isn't always to max out like you men! I think that it definitely depends on what your goals are. I think it is hilarious as a woman to see other women not using thier common sense when it comes to gaining muscle. Freaking out over gaining a pound of muscle!? How can that be a bad thing? More muscle means more fat loss, more support for the skelatal system. I also think it is funny to hear females whine about how they do so much cardio but they aren't losing any weight, but they can't do one push-up!

I like working out an hour after my morning meal(oats and maybe some eggs) with some coffee. It get's it done for me and I love the feeling of pumping up, showering, and going out into the world for the rest of my day.

same here, i do my endurance phase routine in the morning after an hour of my breakfast (rolled oats, eat, anabolic protein shake) while my resistance phase routine is on the other week, usually late afternoon, where my body has enough energy (glycogen) to pump...
