How you would realize their importance?

In life, we have the capacity to loved and be loved. The ability to buy and possess the things we want. But, although we have the capacity and the ability, still, we sometimes neglect to show it. Like to the persons we love, even we know how to love still we cannot show it, we cannot express it. Hence, we will just show the love if we see a situation that we need to do it before it will be late. In a thing, we will just recognize its significance the moment that things was already lost or diminish. Why this things or situation need to happen before we realize the importance of that person or that thing? Why not to act now before its too late?
