Do any of you write for Sharon Bucks? If you do and are successful, would you please share with me what the secret is to having your work accepted? So far, everything I have submitted has been rejected and all it says is does not meet requirements. I follow the instructions, do research and submit what I think is a quality piece but obviously I am wrong. If you can give me any hints as to what it takes to get accepted, please share them with me..I am getting tired of spending in excess of 6 hours doing research, composing and submitting only to have it rejected. The piece I wrote yesterday that they rejected was bought by Associated Content so it couldn't have been that bad..Thanks in advance...J

Hi there! Well, of course I can't know specifically but I am certainly willing to try to offer some thoughts :) I've been doing the SharonBucks writing tasks since they first started and have been fortunate to have had them approved. It's how I make most of my myLot earnings, really. So, let's see. If you've done your research and have gathered factual information on the topic, here's what I'd suggest... - Be absolutely certain that everything you write is original content. Even being too similar to an existing source can get an article rejected. - Be sure to look for the "specific message" that is spelled out in the task instructions. This tells you everything your article must cover - you can't just go by the task subject. - Use as many of the keywords as you can and do not alter them in any way. If a keyword is actually a short phrase, for example, you have to use it exactly as provided in the instructions. - Make sure every paragraph contains at least 2-3 sentences, which is the minimum requirement (of course they can be longer though, if you wish) and that you have at least 6 paragraphs in total (for the recently posted tasks anyway) Then, of course, there is the spelling and grammar checking and never writing a 1st person/opinion piece but, judging by the acceptance of your piece elsewhere, I'm sure those aren't an issue. Not sure if this helps but it's what I can think of off the top of my head. Keep at it though... I'm sure you'll be approved. It's just a matter of getting into a groove that works for those tasks, I find... once you do, they become a lot less challenging and flow easier. Very best of luck to you! :)

You simply have to read all of the instructions carefully, especially the second line of instruction. Most people who do these tasks simply glean over and don't pay much attention, that is why when they enter their submission, they are rejected since it is unable to meet the specified criteria. Being too hasty with doing these tasks is a major no-no since Sharon Bucks' standards are pretty high, especially with a huge reward on the online.

Indeed. I was glad to be of help to you. But as I see it, thinkingoutloud has got a lot of useful information to share. Just keep doing those tasks until you are able to figure out exactly what Sharon Bucks want.

I need to look for my piece that was rejected and some others that are floating around and post them somewhere. I have never posted to AC although I have a membership, and at Helium, and at Hub pages.

I think it is also a long and tedious process. I personally don't know too and I'm reading all these wonderful discussion answers and friends are saying their tasks are accepted and that's just so2x awesome.
