plyometrics conditioning

hi all muscle friends? have you tried to use plyometrics in your workout? what can you advice to condition yourself before doing plyometrics workout? are there particular diet, streatching or warm-up exercise...my trainor and i is planning to do some plyometrics for my leg and abs workout to bit up the plateau..
