While I was responding to a discussion somewhere else I got to thinking about this. I thought it would be fun and informative, maybe even educational to start this discussion.
What have you done or who have you fibbed to, so that you could make sure you saw your team play?
We already know that I rearranged a banquet so I could be home by puck drop. I also admit to pretending to feel ill so I could leave a friends wedding reception, so I wouldn't miss the wings play the blackhawks..No judging..it was the wings black hawks! I also gave her a great gift, I knew I was going to do this before I left for the wedding, it was pre-meditated..
There have been others, I'm sure you are schocked to learn but that's all I'm sharing for now. I hope some of you have been creative, I need some new material!

I don't lie or scheme.Anyone of importance in my life Knows that I love hockey and given the choice I rather stay home and watch the game! Thankfully I have a DVR so on the rare chance I Have "miss" the game I can tape it and watch it later.

Show off..LOL..my immediate circle know me the same way and do try to accomodate me as well..but it was the Blackhawks. I feel a little twinge of guilt now that you went and used big words like lieing and scheming..but I'm honest enough to say I would do it again. LOL

Wings vs Blackhawks Is a reason to scheme.I am just lucky that I don't have to move things around to see hockey. my problem is when there is a good film and a good hockey game on at the same time.
