How do you start your day. Its best to pick up the Bible before we do anything for the day. God's word, a source of strength, peace and wisdom that we often neglect. Hope we can pick it up and allow its words to fill our lives daily. Have a nice day!

I've been away for a while but I'm back! do respond to my discussions that I've just started. :)

Hi Zelmarq! They say that it is very important to start our day on the right track since this will definitely dictate the mood we will have for the rest of the day. And one way of doing these will be reading, studying and hearing the word of God. But sometimes the demanding and hectic schedule we have in our life and work have led us away from doing these thing. We just complement this by buying ready made inspirational book that will give us little and short verses of the word of God, which will be better than none. I have always tried to read at least one chapter of the bible everyday, to honor the One who have created me and given me the life I have right now. Have a nice day!

I do not read my Bible as often as I should. I really have a hard time understanding alot of it. I am not much of a reader either. I work seven days a week and wish I could make some time for it, to be able to sit down and actually put time into it.

In India we believe that hands are simbol of productivity so God of wealth lives there. I open my two hands in front of my eyes and open my eyes and see the hands first and offer my respects. Then I look at my favourite saint Shirdi Baba's photo and pray that all my family members should spend the day without any problem. Then Pray to Kubera, who gives money to us and to Sun God who is responsible for Plant growth and food grains cultivation and gives light to us. Then only I get up from the bed. It takes hardly 20 seconds.

Hello Zelmarq, That would be nice to start the day with bible. I was watching a cable channel with that lady with her sermon on my it is 311. She really get her crowd motivated and understand poeple and her won life with God. I like listening too for the most part that is how I start my day. She talking about the Prodical son. How we as people forgive but if someone hurts us we do not talk to them even though we say to oursleves or them we forgive them... therfore have we really forgiven them in hearts. We have forgive them in hearts and not just say the words no matter how bad they hurt us. God will always take us back and have a party for us no matter how bad we are as long as we love him and his brothers and sister. This response was long winded (whew) Have a great day Sincerley Unique16
