Just How Mean Can We Humans Be?

This is just so sad and these 2 incidents just sickens me to the core on how we can be so insensitive and heartless to animals - dogs. In one incident, a Lithuanian young man literally threw a dog off a bridge while his friend videoed the whole sequence. Miraculously, the animal survives and - to the viewers' horror - can be heard crying in distress over the roar of the traffic. The cruel clip quickly circulated in Lithuanian where the footage was shot, caused a mounting outrage that led to these cruel culprits being arrested. In another incident, a negligent young pit bull owner could actually unleashed his dog without a muffler which led the dog attacked a Labrador guide dog. Leaving the blind lady owner in abandonment and distraught and her dog with a deep neck wound. How can people be so heartless, cruel and negligent?
