Your choice: White lesbian v. Black activist?

Your mayoral election turned into a run-off between a White Lesbian and Black activist, both of whom have similar liberal political ideas. While I do not understand why any political party would not narrow its candidate to just one by election day, there some who view this run-off as a showdown between a Black activist and a White lesbian. Religious conservatives (myself included) do not support the gay/lesbian lifestyle, though I support their rights as humans. On the other hand, republican conservatives are terribly intimidated by a Black activist. So, you are a conservative (and possibly White), who would you vote for as your next mayor and why?
