But it gives the immense pleasure of getting something out of your mind without being timid and trying to be nice to everyone. As you say pleasing is not the game we are playing here.I always liked your attitude in this respect.

At a place like myLot, if you are not offending someone, you don't have any strong opinions, only tactful PC. MyLot is so diverse, that only the overly tactful, polite, and timid could not tick off someone on a regular basis.

That happened to me many months back. I had a discussion up on my old account and someone took it the wrong way, they in fact thought I was talking about them. Not the fact that it had nothing to do with them. I have to say that it got real nasty that is when I deleted my account and left. I figured enough was enough. But some people just take things the wrong way.

Yes, I have. However, methinks all these folks with 10 stars who think they have too, really have not done so very often.

And dear Blackdog as you have told to Zu being tactful kills the joy of mylotting and very unbecoming of a forum. This is a place to come out with whatever crops up in your mind and placing it without intending to hurt anyone personally. If some one is trying to read between the lines and find it personal then it is his or her personal headache.Isn't it?

I had a personal experience of of close brush ups a couple of time. But it doesn't deter me from keep going here.If I have to think twice before making a harmless discussion I would rather not make any discussion at all. Some people are very impulsive before responding to the discussions. We just cannot help it.

Yep, it sure has. I still remember that discussion and as far as I can remember its my only created discussion so far that has been deleted. It was actually reported by one of the responders. Well, the discussion in itself is not really rude or offensive. The responder was the one being rude and I was the one surprised and offended. He was just too derogatory in his remarks that I had to retaliate in my defense. The responder after this guy also supported me by commenting about his rude response. The responder directly told me that he will report my discussion. I remember it clearly because it was the first discussion that I had more than 50 responses on. Knowing what I know now in myLot, I guess my topic could have been valid for deletion. I was still trying to explore the site and I think that was around my 1st month here, I was still "earnings conscious" that I know exactly how much I had everyday. When that time, there have been weird earning fluctuations happening. There were a lot of discussions saying their earnings decreased, but mine surprisingly increased. So I asked the myLot community about such happenings. Anyway, that was a long time ago, that kinda made me learn not to care to much about the earnings, the ratings, as well as the number of responses that my discussions could get.

Yeah, you keep learning here about the moods and mentally of the fellow Mylotters. It is a constant practice. We don't know how are harmless discussions are going to be interpreted in the minds of thousands of mylotters. It is strange to see they way one person taking a discussion very easy and another one taking it very personal.Well any way it makes mylotting interesting.

That is true and it also makes us all the more aware that we are a very diverse community with different minds having different opinions.^_^

Not really Bala, although to be honest, i have expected and been prepared sometime in the beginning. Hey, and if a particular discussion of yours is making you think this way don't. It was a discusssion which had brought about different points of view and most of all it was a healthy one. Take it in the right spirit as a debate,w hich is also a good form of interaction as long as we keep it clean.

Hahaha.... Bala bowled over blabbers, how weird is that! To reply to this, many times. Yes i was grilled, criticised with heavy censures for a simple blabber. We have so many people here with different psyche and point of views. So, I accept the firings most gracefully. May be start another discussion as an offshoot.
