They say, rice is one of the food that contains great carbohydrates. Reason why some of the people who observe their diet dont eat rice during dinner time. Nevertheless, they sometimes use measuring cups if they really cannot avoid eating or taking a rice.
How about you, are you also doing this - not taking rice during dinner time? Are you measuring your rice intake or you are not taking any rice at all - either breakfast, lunch and dinner? Is rice really a great contributor of carbohydrates in our body?

I don't eat rice every day maybe once a week. If I am eating it as a side dish I tend to only eat about a fourth of a cup or maybe somewhere between a fourth and a half. If the rice is the main dish I make sure to put some nice veggies in there with it and some protein as to balance it out. But if it is the main part of the meal I am not as careful about the portion I eat until I am satisfied and then stop.

white rice is reach in carbs and glucose which turn to fat if we consumed more than required in one setting of meal, i carefully watch my rice intake when it comes to rice i prefe organic ones like red/purple or brown rice, 1 or 1/2 cup of this serving will do for me..

We usually eat rice once a week. I don't measure how much we eat of it or per the persons plate or anything. I don't worry about it's carb contents because I usually have tons of veggies with the rice too so I figure it balances itself out.

Hi, air. Whenever I eat rice out of the plastic bag, I just use my own judgment when it comes to measuring the rice. For Lipton pouch rices, I will measure it with a measuring cup. I do eat rice. At least two to three times a week. I love Uncle Ben's Instant Rice. It is very nutritious!
