How to open RM file?

Guys, how do you open a RM (real media) file without Real Player? I use VLC player and SM player. Can this be done on either of them? How? I'm all ears.

you can try installing additional codec softwares like k-lite to get them running on other media players.

i use real media classic (if i remembered it right). It is an alternative to real player and can play most of its format.

I think you can't...I had the same problem before and installed a real media player. If you want you can convert it to another using a converter.
