What has been good to see is that on a placid track now Dravid has started attacking the bowlers. It was joy to see him come down the track and hit the spinners for six!! I have not seen that from Dravid in a long time in the test matches. In one way you can say T20 has helped him with the confidence to play the shots even in this format of the game.
Cheers!

When you say India has to win a test match the first person you want in the team is Rahul Dravid. And after being dropped from the ODI side even after performing better than many who were included in the team Rahul has a point or two to make for the selectors to realize their mistake in dropping him from the ODI side.
Dravid has always been one of the most consistant batsman in the whole world when it comes to test cricket. You name any big match that we have won on foreign soil and Dravid would have been a major factor in it with his bat as much as with his catches at slip.
Today was no different. It seems we have taken him for granted and dont give due respect for his efforts. If Sachin hits a century we see it in the media for a full week and his every century is counted in gold but when Dravid hits a century which usually is more meaningful with the context of the match and ciscumstances in which it is hit the media just makes a mention of it.
One of the most unsung heroes of cricket Dravid deserves much more than what he is being offered by the selectors, board or media. I hope the poor treatment he gets from these quarterswill only make him more intense and dedicated towards his work.
