Are you the material type of person.. or you just content yourself with what you have.. If you are the material type of person then what is that thing that you want that until now you are still aiming for it.. Do you think you can still achieve this during your lifetime.. What if not?

that is close to an insult mylosha unless you two know each other and do this in jest. I know i would not like to be called a
worthless friend. also mylot might take exception to this. just a friendly word of advice.

No I am not. The reason for that is my mother; she is one of those people who lives her life based on appearances and it gets on my nerves like you would not believe. She loves ‘stuff’ and paying way too much for it! She won’t buy an item of clothing unless she paid a fortune for it and you can never have a conversation with her that has any depth.
Looking at my mother all these years has engrained in my head how pathetic it is to live for things and not people. I like nice things, don’t get me wrong but I am not defined by what I own, which isn’t much, I consider my loved ones and my pets far more precious than any material possession!

Thanks paula.. It is really nice to be living within a persons means/limits. But sometimes people liv for things that they want to achive it come hell or high leaving them with lifetime loans which I think it is what happened to some people which contributed to the us recession although I still beleive that greed really contibuted to it!

sammy14 hi no not at all . I value love and liking and caring
and enjoying life a lot more than things. things wear out, break,
cost too much and gather dust.people are real and loving and caring. no things do not mean so much to me.

Thanks Hatley for that comment.. material things are good only here on earth.. you cannot bring it with you when you die.. If it is lavish spending then I guess It is better to spend it for a worthy cause.. just like what Bill Gates did..
Hey Hatley do you write..
