Is dreamweaver suitable for beginners?

It seems that most semi-pros go for Adobe Dreamweaver while designing a webpage.But,I'm a total novice with no knowledge of HTML so do you reckon I can handle dreamweaver or should I go for one of the other options?

I love that song I know it is a very old song but it is a great one!:}I think it would be okay.
