How often do you text when you asked for an apology?

In our modern technology there's always different and easy way to communicate with others. Especially through our mobile phones. It's the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to communicate with our family and friends. So have you tried saying I'm sorry through text? What do you feel when someone apologized their mistakes through text? Or would you rather call or met the person when you apologized?

I would rather call the person than use the text. Its the best I can do especially if the person is far away. It would better to talk to the person personally. It would mean a lot for him to know that you are really sincere of making the apology. I use text sometimes, but the effect to the person is not that much compared to talking to him over the phone or in person.
