She shocked the tennis world when she retired in May 2008. Just right before the French Open where she was the reigning champion. She was the highest ranked female tennis player to ever retired from the game. But after 14 months, she decided to comeback to the game she once dominated. She was inspired by Roger Federer when he complete the career Slam by winning French Open 2009 after how many tries. With her beautiful one-handed backhand, will she be ready to dominate women's tennis once again? Will she able to win Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam that eluded her and to complete the career Slam?

I actually loved to see her play and as you mention was shocked myself. I just think that now that her Belgium mate Kim Clisters is back, I believe she is also inspired to come back and try and dominate the world of women's tennis once more. Let's hope she does bring in more elegance and class into the women's tennis world next year. Cheers! Ram
