How do I upload photos for my profile?

I noticed some mylot users have a photo block on their profiles. I tried editing my profile, and I do have a photo block on there, but I don't have any photos, so it doesn't show up. I tried clicking on the green link that says "my photos" in the column with my avatar and friends list, but it comes up to a blank box. I can't find an upload link for my photos anywhere. How can I find it?
