Sudden acceleration problem with Toyota model vehicles

Some people had complained about the recent problem with many of Toyota vehicles, like the 2007 to 2010 Camry; 2005 to 2010 Avalon; 2004 to 2009 Prius etc..... All have sudden acceleration problem; which they called Fly - by - wired. Simply Fly - by - wire means the cars powered by electronically rather than traditional mechanical cabling. Now, Toyota has to recalled some millions of its vehicle to the shop, and replaced the part with a "smart pedal". Hopefully it will help with the safety issue we all concern. Have you noticed any problem with your Toyota model of vehicle lately with this similar problem?

I am wondering whether the shim that they are putting in will solve the problem, or if it is an electronic problem. It is going to cost them alot of money for this one.

if you've seen the latest news, it wasn't enough..... I think the problem is bigger than they can admit to now!
