Santa Story

Can anybody know the story of Santa? who was he and why were he start giving gifts? there are many different stories regarding this in different countries. one thing is similar that he was a wealthy man but what is else in Santa Story ? and is Santa was his name or it was given by people?

the santa as we know him today (i think) was developed by Coca Cola in the early years of their business but in Germany there is a Nicklaus and there is a St. Nicholas for sure. i just dont know all the story behind them.

yeah that is the confusion i m also in. people used to enjoy gifts but do not know that where Santa comes from and what was his story?

Each country has their own origin of 'Santa Claus'! One of the countries says that he came from the legend of a wealthy man named St. Nicholas, and he would give gifts to the poor! In the Netherlands they celebrated a 'sinterclass' for the children! In the US sinterclass, became Santa Clause!
