Dreams are just part of those fantasies and imaginations of every human mind.Who would not wish to be at the apex of glory at least in a dream! A dreamer always derive exquisite pleasure from visualizing most of the things beyond his reach.Dream thus are a boon bestowed to us by the creator.Without dreams our life would be void and colorless. If desires had wings, it would soar far beyond the realms of human thought and aspirations! A dreamer...be it always

Hello my friend sukumar794 Ji,
I totally agree with you. Dreams are for all those persons who work like a machine even on sundays/holdays and week-ends without entertaining themselves. So God provides entertainment platform for mind and brain combined. Person take some time to think about and enjoys. Person's enjoyment may beturning point for his life.
Wishing you a very happy Chrismas and New Year-2010.
May God bless You and have a great time.

I'm not a big fan of those involuntary dreams that sneakily pop out the subconscious when the mind is reposing. But if you include daydreams too, I'm an addict to them. Daydreaming to me does the same as do amusement parks or ice-creams to the children - forget oneself and seize the moment. And when the dream's over, it's over for all, without a clue, when reality dawns and fun looks a part of life than life itself.

Dreams have a long history. They have been a subject of controversy and disagreement. Throughout history, people have sought meaning in dreams or divination through dreams. They have been described physiologically as a response to neural processes during sleep, psychologically as reflections of the subconscious, and spiritually as messages from gods or predictions of the future. Many cultures had practiced dream incubation, with the intention of cultivating dreams that were prophetic or contained messages from the divine.

hi sukumar794 dreams are indeed part of fantasies of'
the human mind. but day dreams are more fun as you
can'have dreams of something that might actually be plausible
to make or build something you dreamed of. but just remembered'
one dream as it was so vivid. I was back working in the
library, and putting away these gossamer dreams that hung
in a large gossamer sheet. some were marked pleasant ,some '
scary and some frightening. we also had a big machine that
these gossamer sheets were threaded through and people could
sit there and watch any dream they wanted, twenty five cents
for a dream. also in the dream we sold machines like that for 'home use in reading dreams. in the dream it all seemed to make'
perfect sense too.

I think that when we dream we are truly alive whether it is dreams while we sleep, day dreams or far away goals we may be longing for. The day we stop dreaming we stop living. There is so much we can learn about ourselves from analysing our dreams. Sometimes we dream what we fear or feel frustrated by and at other times it is all about our deepest desires. There are those who dream prophetically but I believe that is a rare gift.
