Should Nursing in the Philippines Be made a five year course?

I studied Nursing, but for me, I feel as if the four years of study are not enough. If I were a Dean, I would implement something like a one year of specialization duty so that student nurses will get to choose an area that they would like to be in and get one year of RLE in their choice of special area. It would look nice in an entry level resume in a student indicated- had one year of Related Learning Experience in the ICU for example.
