hey all am seeing a lot of new discussions coming onto mylot lately which get my goat lol, (annoy me)
Asking about mams and careers and is it hard to be a mother etc etc, there are single dads out there like me that look after their kids full time.
I have 3 kids and have them full time yet I still run my own business and have quality time with my kid's.
Why do people always assume that its the women's job to look after the kids and the mans job to work, its the 21 st century eequal opportunities for both sexes and single dads do exist.
Give you an example was taking my little one out and she dropped her toy, another mam girl picked it up and looked around for about 10 secs and said to my daughter wheres your mam. I was dumb founded she didn't even think I was my own kids parent and looked amazed when I said thank you and pushed my little girl off in the pram.
Sorry just had to have a whinge there ha ha ha.

thanks baps, yeah few years back can remember all the changing rooms used to be in women's toilets,
Many a time have I walked into them in shopping centre's remember once I got told to leave the bay change facility which was in a womans toilet by the security,
was not happy, so I changed my kids in the middle of the shopping centre and put the stinking nappies in the normal bin stank the place out.
But am glad its all changing now to be unisex and some public places are moving from the dark ages into the 21st century finally.

yeah times are changing i am glad to hear that you are taking care of your kids and holding down the household. Yes the 50s and 60s are over time to get with the program there are men out there to taking care of buisness. well continue to take care of buisness and since you are a man taking care of children and have your own buisness ever thought of forming a club for men who take care of their children just a thought.

Yeah, I do agree with you that taking care of kids is not only mother's job. It's good of you that you take care of your kids pretty well and also doing your own business. I suppose it's not easy for a single parent to do that, especially you even spend quality time with your kids.
I'm glad that my husband also doesn't think that it's mother's job, and we think it's actually both of our job to take well care of our baby, as it's OUR baby.
Frankly speaking, I do feel quite guilty as both of my husband and I are full time working, and we only spend time with our baby on weekends. I really wish to spend full time at home, and take care of my baby. ^_^
