I'm going to be behind for a while

The roomie had surgery today. I was off my computer for 12 hours and was ALREADY behind when I left it. I will be taking care of her yahoo! groups while she's out of pocket, so that will put me even further behind here.
So, if I should pop up with a few discussions you thought were dead and buried, know that I will be playing catch up for the next little bit.
And as for responding to comments - well, that will be my first priority, but... I will be behind on that, don't despair, tho, I will try to get to all of them.
Oh, and she was in recovery when I left the hospital this evening and I've talked to her parents, so as it stands now, she is resting comfortably.

You must make an excellent nursemaid! I hope she gives you the same care when you are ill. And I really hope she has a safe and speedy recovery. And I don't care if you're late responding to any of my discussions. A response at any time is something I'm thankful for! hee hee

No problem Elic...I'm way behind here especially about replying to friends discussions...I looked at your profile and saw a whole bunch of discussions you started that I didn't even know about...not getting my email notifications for when friends start discussions..

Actually it's just plain more that I'm hardly getting any notices that people are starting discussions..also have a lot of things going on in my life now that I need to settle--and NOT fun stuff

Well, I would also be behind to. But it is because my internet connection is having a technical problem right now. It goes on and off and its very frustrating since there are times that I post and when I submit, the connection is lost and everything is erased. Well, I am for your roomies complete recovery. I sure hope she gets along real good & recuperates real quick. It is real sweet of u to try to keep up w/her things to. I do well to keep up w/my own so u will have quite a job. Give her my best when u see her & keep us updated on her condition. Take care of yourself to. jo

I hope she recovers soon! Is this the bariatric surgery you were talking about awhile ago or something else?
I'm behind, too. Cookie, my dog, had surgery and my writing has kept me very busy. I'm only two days behind right now, which is real progress!

She should, granted it wasn't an easy procedure, since what they were doing was a gastric bypass meaning, of course, that she is morbidly obese, but she's pretty healthy for all she's 150 lbs over weight, diabetic, hypertensive with high cholesterol, etc, etc...

It doesn’t take long to get behind, does it? I was off the Net for around a day or so because I had my daughter’s birthday party to organise and when I returned I had emails all over the place and after another day off, it took me about a week to catch up! Most people don’t mind at all, we all have lives...Glad to hear your roomie is doing well; she‘s lucky to have you around, that’s for sure! I look forward to seeing you when you get back here! Rest up...

Yes I underand the perdimcet here. I have been couniounls behind here becase I have been busy with my gf and not had the time to post. It has been a long time sice I have started a dissscution. When I find the time, like now, is when I get caught up.

Pls send my best wishes to your roomie, hope her recuperate very quickly.
And I found that the healthy for us is so important thing as weel as our friends, so take care yourself. My work is also very busy though, and I always squeeze a little time to visit her for my friends, I love here.

Take your time. We love you, too, but we don't want you to have a nervous breakdown trying to do everything.
