Hi, I am using a Nokia 5800 xpressmusic phone. I used it for web browsing thru wifi connections. But in our office, the network administration has blocked youtube, facebook and friendster sites in the network. Is there a way so that I can watch youtube in my mobile phone? I have used a proxy server website once, but their speed in loading youtube pages is very poor. Are their any ways?

You could search for another Wi-Fi connection. There may be one within range. Perhaps a better question would be: why do you need YouTube while you are supposed to be working? I have fired people for exactly that. My company does not offer a second chance. If you get caught "playing" while you should be working, you are done. It is harsh and I do not totally agree with it. I think a written warning for a first offense would be more appropriate, but it is what it is. We pay people to work and that is what we expect them to do.

The only way you can view blocked content at the office is if you're not using their wireless connections. They have a right to cut off what they want. Perhaps go to your boss and find out why he/she has had it blocked. If you have to use wi-fi to surf the web on your mobile device while at work, look for another connection instead of the network connection for your job. If you can afford it, buy a web-browsing data plan from your provider. Those use their own cell network to allow you to connect, and not wi-fi. Depending on what service you get inside, it may actually be faster then wi-fi.

Yes if you try o hide your ip such as proxy or softwares normally the upload of sites as youtube will be very low also because much multimedia, flash graphics must be uploaded and so rich contents is much time to download them completely may be you can try to bypass the lock in the network but this is not legal..so i think you won't risk to loose your job simply to see youtube videos...may eb at least you can do it to copy some financial dates in yoru office but not to upload your facebook/youtube profle and so on..
