As The World Turns Ending.

I expect to feel much the same after the show ends, as I did before the show ended. Life goes on for most of us, whether or not a TV show happens or not. I was 14 before we had a TV and it was in black and white, and there was always a snow storm, even during the evening news. I can remember hoping that spring would come soon, because I was so sick of that Snow Storm.

Guiding Light went off the air a few months ago and now As The World Turns will end in September. It looks to me like all the daytime dramas will disappear from the air waves in the next couple of years. The sad thing is they look like they are being replaced with court tv shows. Have you any idea how many of them there are? Divorce Court, Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, Street Court, Judge Joe Brown... the list is endless. Whether they replace soaps with court shows, talk shows or something else, I feel the daytime dramas will soon be a thing of the past.
