Disappearing Act

Have you ever wanted to disappear and start a new life without the baggage from your current one? I was reading an article about a guy who helps people disappear - as long as they aren't criminals or owe money. Often the people he helps are victims of stalkers or life has just got too crazy for them so they want to relocate and be left alone. He said the moving is fairly simple, the difficult bit is covering your tracks so people can't hunt you down afterwards. Have you ever been in a situation where you wished you could make it all go away?

I can't even begin to count how many times I've thought of this. Just to get away, forget everything, begin a new slate. But it's hard if you've got family tying you down. So, the most I do is get into a car, and start driving. I would drive far, and I would drive fast. It's not the real thing, but on some level it has the same purpose. To get away from whatever we have in front of us right now!

I've been dreaming before that I will be able to disappear. It's not easy though because it will also cost you a lot of money I guess. Until now, I sometimes dare to think about running away from what I am in the present. How about you?
