Where do you do your shopping for food and household items? Grocery stores? Mega-stores (like Walart or Costo, etc) or local/independantly owned stores? or maybe even farmers markets? I usually shop at grocery stores because there are a couple of them close to where I live and they're just more convinient. There are a couple Walmarts in my area, but they're on the other side of town and I just don't really like shopping there. w

I mostly do my shopping for food at a couple of grocery store not far from where I live. For household items I more often shop at Walgreens or Walmart but sometimes at the grocery store if there is a good sale. It all depends on the price and how far I have to drive.

I usually try to avoid places like Walmart and Target most of the time if at all possible. I would much rather shop at the smaller, locally-owned stores when I can. I prefer to support local business. It is important to keep as much of your money in local markets as you possibly can. This will aid in the growth and development of your local economy, and it will also help to keep local businesses that are already established going strong...

I love shopping in large department store for electronic appliances, clothes and many other things except foods. Because in a large department store, I can enjoy the service, and I can find almost everything I need and I will need. Walking leisurely in it, when I am tired, I can buy some drinks and sit or even enjoy some performance on spot. If I am interested, I can even join in come interaction activities. Even window shopping enlarges my views and cultivate taste for beauty. so shopping is not that simple which only means to buy things. It's entertainment and information source. As to buy food, except vegetables and fruit, I like to buy them in chain supermarket like Walmart, because such large chain stores can buy things at a lower price therefore it provides lower price for customers too. vegetables and fruits are not as fresh as those sold in morning markets. And many foods are sold much more expensive than in market. Often the prices are times higher.

Well I guess I do a little of both. I try to most of my grocery shopping at Walmart. They seem to have the better prices on the can food, and cereal. However I do get better meat prices at the local grocery store. Have a good evening and keep smiling.
