Do you settle for things? Let me tell you what makes me ask this.My NEW job sucks, my OLD job sucked as well but I "settled" with them.My 22 year old daughter and my mother both think I can do better. However, my mother also "settled" into a really crappy marriage but when I look at my daughter, she refuses to settle for anything. A bad job, a bad boyfriend, a bad anything. If it gets bad and it's unhealthy, she leaves. So, my question is: Do YOU settle?? With what?? Why??? Why do so many of us "settle"??

I have just settled in the past because inwardly I was convinced that I was not worthy of any more than what I had. I wasn’t until years later when came to the realisation that one should aim for the sky and dare to dream, We are all worth the very best that we can have and there is no harm working to reach our goals no matter how far away they may seem to be right now!

I was taught that I should settle or try to when it comes to jobs because really a job is a job and so many can't find work or can't work period. I do get my feel and run if it's something that really drags me down though... I have done that before.
