I thought they look kinda neat. Like grown up light up shoes! *LOL* http://www.chanel.com/fashion/8-sequined-goat-sandals-with-functioning-bulb-heel--2,2,9,9#8-sequined-goat-sandals-with-functioning-bulb-heel--2,2,9,9
I think they may be snazzy for hitting the clubs or for going trick or treat at night with your kids ;0) However those would make for some pretty expensive kicks @ $2,200!

who is it..i think pleasers shoes?sell light ups for a lot cheaper.
they are kind of cool for clubbing tho,as long as they're not too bright.

Never heard of pleasers shoes. But the more I think about it I don't see why they don't make such an option for runners? There are plenty of runners out there who go out when it's barely light & that would be a nice option as well.
Too bad I can't wear heels, don't have the money, and I certainly can't go clubbing w/ my 3snugglebunnies in towe. *LOL*

That is interesting...i did some searching around for shoes for runners that ligt up, and found nothing, i think that would be a really good idea. the closest thing i found during my search was a prototype for a shoe that basicly had LED lights in the toes, to light up the path as you were running. they looke dpretty innovative, and they talked about how instead of disposable batteries, they would run on a cell that would charge itself using the kinetic energy form the person running/walking in them. They would probably be on the expensive side, but i bet they would have a market for them out there!!

it takes alot of fat cash & sacrafice to come up with a product nonetheless one that's really marketable KWIM? Like I think ABC has a show called sharkroom? where people sell their ideas to some sharks / investors for a stake in their company... some neat ideas out there. But you know even if my house is not the greatest I couldn't sacrafice my house, my everything for something that could flop.

They have so many beautiful shoes there!! I'm not crazy about the light bulb, I would prefer a pillar of sparkling, colored lights, but it certainly is different! I went into the site and saw some very beautiful shoes. I wish I could wear nice shoes but I have flat feet. If I'm ever confined to a wheelchair, I'm going to have gorgeous shoes cos I could wear them without walking in them!

*lamo* yeah I can't walk in those either. I don't think I'd be very "graceful" in them that's for sure!
Just think though for $2,200 you'd never have to buy another pair if you were in a wheelchair... they'd never wear out! *LOL*

My little sister actually had a pair of light up heels that she got for her senior prom a few years ago. I thought they were the coolest shoes that I've ever seen, and they didn't cost nearly $2,200. I think she paid about 40 dollars for them. And, it was really the hit of her prom as well. Her friends all thought that they were a great pair of shoes and they also matched very well with the dress that she was wearing as well.
