I just played Plants Vs. Zombies for around 18 hours straight!!! Whoa!!! What an addictive game!
I just finished the Adventure, now playing the other mini-games, as well as playing the Adventure game once again, just because I love playing it with more POWER (the power-ups and stuff)... Nyahahaaa!!!
I love the strategy of the game... And the POWER!!! Also, while the Wiki says that it's a "tower defense game," a strategy game likened to Warcraft, among other games I never could play, the graphics are so arcade-ish that I'm not intimidated at all. I love that it's straightforward and fun to watch, fun to play. Unlike Warcraft, etc., which make my head spin. :D
How about you? What games make you play for a whole day? What is it about the game that glued you to your seat? Answer on! :D

That game is gaining a lot of popularity the last few months. I really could not understand the lure of it. I have seen some snapshots and the general gameplay but I have to admit that I havent tried it myself. Im slightly apprehensive to try it because I dont want to be addicted like other people. I just have too much work and other concerns to take care of to be distracted with a game. I am a gamer myself thats why I try to avoid temptations for as long as I can.
Its kinda the same as the Facebook rage. I put off creating a profile there cause Ive heard a lot of reports, even from my friends that they're hooked on it. Well, good thing the FB addiction didnt get on me. I treat it just like any other profile page site.
Anyway, going back to Plants VS Zombies, I do love great games and I could play for a full 24 hours maybe even longer if I just didnt care about sleep.LOL So maybe Ill try to play that game sometime, just not anytime soon that is.

Haha! You know, from the time I posted this discussion, up to right now.....
I was able to complete the Adventure (main) game 1 time, earning me a SILVER trophy. Yesterday, I FINISHED ALL THE GAMES. From Mini-games to Puzzles to Survival modes, name it, I've finished it! Currently just raising my Zen Garden, and trying to get my Tree of Wisdom up to 1000 feet, its max height, while playing the Adventure mode the 2nd time around, and if I get bored, choosing a Mini-Game or a Survival mode and trying to beat it a different way! Hahaha!
YES, Plants vs Zombies is THAT addictive. I think I spent more than 18 hours in a stretch on this! Whoa! It made me forget Farmville and all my Facebook games, mind you. :p

Nice, I have been addicted to games but not that addicted that I had all the trophies in the "awards" section of the game. Finishing the game in all of its available game modes as well as all the possible mini games and all the different possible endings is enough for me.
If that's how much you became hooked on it, then Ill just postpone playing it until after I graduate this March.

Hi again, bjcyrix! Had you played Trauma Center, that Nintendo DS surgery game? There's an addictive, fun, irreverent knockoff up at Adultswim.com, Amateur Surgeon. It's a VERY fun game. :D
