Information Please! How do You Set-up a Viable Website??

Tech savvy? Could you provide the steps needed to take in layman's language, so that
a second grader would understand them. Plain and simple, one step at a time as to how one would set up a viable website? Do not assume there is knowledge on any front. Thank you very much for your time. Really appreciated.

i have not understand the question,i am the layman,i have several doubts in the net and in the sites,i have one friend i will forward my doubts and she will clear,but some times i will ask some body to help me by step by step information,there are lot of thing are pending or not done due to lack information with me,have a nice day

If you want to set up a website I'd suggest officelive.com. Its very simple to follow and use and has plenty of storage AND is free..Check them out

....Hi there greenfeathers, Thanks so very much for taking the time to answer my question. I have made a note of the website and I will check it out. I have seen other information, but it was always in pieces, some talk about hosting, others mention getting a domain name. Still others talk about something else. With my limited computer knowledge, log in log out,so to speak, though I had the interest in setting up a website, I was unable to pull it all together to make it work.

Though most of the work that I do now is online, I can't really say that I'm an expert on this stuff. But if by viable, you mean 'income-generating', I'd point you to http://www.problogger.net, the best site for probloggers/freelancers out there. This site was made by a guy who makes all of his income via blogging - and that's in six figures. Scoot on over there to learn more.

I will definitely check out the website. I have been thinking about doing this for a long time, but did not even know where to start.
