Do you drink alot of water during the day? Are you one of those that can't handle the taste and you have to add some kind of flavoring to it? I am one who has to drink it straight. I like filtered if I can get it but it doesn't have to be. What about you?

Filtered, coffee or Dr.Pepper. Oh, and some cranberry and acai juice.

I don't mind drinking water or the taste of water especally when it is ice cold but I don't drink it quite as often as I should.

No, actually it washes the toxins out of your system and you feel better. It's a good thing.

Me too..I think that is a bit much and I think if I were to truly drink that much it would make me want to puke.

I never used to care for the taste of water and couldn't stand to drink it but then I finally made myself drink more of it and now I'm ok with it. It has to be icebox cold though for me to drink it though. I don't add anything to it either.

I definitely have to clean up my water. The water here, straight from the tap, has so much chlorine you can smell it. I have to leave the water out overnight to let the chlorine dissipate out. Then I cut a small bit of aloe and put it in there. This is a very common method in the Middle East that has been used for 1000s of years. The water ends up tasting "fresh". There is no other way to explain it.
When I am in a rush, I have to squeeze a bit of lemon in it. Yes, I know celticeagle, me and my lemons!

Aloe is good. Lemon is devine in the heat. Very good.

I definitely have to add some flavoring to it. I cannot stand plain tap water. We have a water tank that filters the water, but I cannot remember to take those large water bottles and have them filled up half the time. Drinking water is something that I have to work into my daily routines, and at this point I get plenty of water during my work hours 5 days a week. As for the other 2 days of the week, I am still working on incorporating carrying my water bottle around with me as part of my routine.

I drink a gallon and a half every day. It would take alot to flavor that amount every day.

We live in Houston, Texas and we are on the top 10 list of having the worst tasting water. We buy it bottled and add drop ins to give us some flavor. I don't drink out of the tap, it tastes terrible, like metal or something. When we lived in the gulf before we had to buy bottled water.

Add drop ins? Not sure what that is. I filter mine and it is just fine.

I will say though that it is better cold than room temp. Then it does start tasting nasty.

In the summer I fix sun tea. Let it set out in the sun for about 6 hours and add some honey. Good!

Hi celticeagele, we have fresh spring water taps around the village here for the best drinking water, but the tap water is fine too. I drink far more in the summer and keep it in the freezer as as soon as it comes out in the heat it starts to defrost but that way I can drive for an hour and still have ice cold water. I can drink it as is, but usually put a couple of fresh mint leaves in, or a slice of lemon when I'm at home. Everywhere that serves Greek coffee also serves a glass of cold water on the side.
