Does it matter who made the first move?

In today's modern world with advance technology and lifestyle, does it matter if a girl ask the boy first for a date? Is it okay for girls to make the first move? Are guys easily turned-off with this set-up or find it convenient? No matter how fast time goes by, I still believe in Chivalry, in courting, in winning a woman's heart. Ladies and gentlemen where do you stand in this issue?

A girl can ask a guy out just as well as i guy can ask a girl, me, myself, i dont like rejection, so i sadly wait for the guy to make the first move, but i was told some guys like it when the girl ask them out first. guys like to be romanced aswell

I always thought men love to chase women because of the challenge.

For conservative families, a girl making the first move for their son is an issue already. They have many things to say and assume about the matter. But, at present time..This really do not matter who will made the first move. People now are much aggressive and very expressive in what they do and wanted in life. Some do this for fun, games, curiosity and many more. Making the first move can be considered as a humble act for some life situation like in advices, assistance to help. But in love, it really can be read in different forms as well interpreted by other people.

Depends on the boy. If he doesn't mind with aggressive gal, so it's ok for gal to ask for a date first. but in my opinion, it's absolutely okay.
