First shot with my new camera - This shows my progress on a cross-stitch picture I started a couple months ago.

So I got me a Pentax Optio E80 digital camera for Christmas, and I'm trying it out. This is the first shot I took with it. It's of my progress on a cross-stitch picture I'm working on.

Wow! That firstly sounds like a nice camera, and secondly.. That "project" you're working on.. looks AMAZING! I bet that's taken a lot of time & devotion. Are you a professional? It certainly LOOKS that way!

Hey Barbara! Wow! That was your first picture! I'm jealous! It's perfect! And that piece you are working on is just exquisite! How large is it? Looks pretty big! Those are some very intricate stitches you're doing. I wish I had the patience to do that, but even if I did I can't see that well anymore to do it!

I wear a pair of dollar store reading glasses over top my regular glasses to sharpen my focus when I'm working on anything smaller than 14-count.
