is our water killing us?

REcently I stopped buying bottled water simply to save money. I always check the label of the water to make sure it is bottled from a spring or something other than just the public water supply. I know there is sodium in the water (which causes bloating) and also flouride. I do not feel well lately and that's one of the main things I have changed over the last few weeks. I'm going to go back to bottled water. Do you think it will make a difference?

For sure it probably is what's making you sick. Especially since you are use to drinking it. I would go back to bottle water. I know the water coming out of my faucet is not good either. So I usually don't drink it.

When I was visiting my boyfriend and his family in Puerto Rico last year I drank well water. It was so delicious. I wish that was available to me in New Mexico.

This weekend I am house sitting for my daughter. She has well water so I don't worry about it as much. It comes from an underground river. I know water only has to go through 50 feet of the ground to be pure again! How cool is that anyway???

i don't know about everybody's water,but i wouldn't doubt if ours is.
it's failed 4 years running,is full of flouride, smells like chlorine and tastes like metal.and yet the city says it's safe..
i'd say at the very least get a filtering system.

Good idea. I know they "fix" our water with all these things that are deemed safe but are actually very harmful for our bodies!!

i've hear flouride in small doses is beneficial..but in the amounts they put in..
that's questionable.
i think in my case they badly need to replace the plant, covering with chemicals isn't going to fix it.

I don't like how companies scam with bottled watered. They act like it's from a spring. The water is from public water. If you think there are bad stuff in your tap water, buy a water purifying system. It will save the environment because you won't have to throw away those plastic bottles. Plus there won't have to be the gas spent to run the factory and the trucks to create and ship the bottled water.

I could do that. I am just living with other people right now and that is not an option. When I get my own place again I will probably do so! It will save the environment a lot!

Drinking pure and clean water is a healthy habit. One has to be very careful with water because there are many water-borne diseases. If you are using tap water better boil it and then cool it and use it for drinking. Bottle water all th time doesn't go well with the pockets.

Yeah, it's my pocketbood that caused me to stop purchasing bottled water to begin with! I may need to do it again for my health's sake though!
