I guess the kids win out. Remember Eliza Dushku from Tru Calling? And the characters on Moonlight? Now there was a story! What happened? Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel and then Charmed. They were great! Now we have the 2000 version with Vampire Diaries. The one on HBO sounds better but I don't have it. Do like this new VD(ooh!)and Eastwick craze? I don't. I like the banter the characters on Buffy and Angel. It was cute and it kept me interested. These new ones i just don't totally get into. What about you? I like vamp and witch shows but these just really leave something to be desired. Not as good writers? New age? What?

OH, Don't talk to me about MOOONLIGHT..
I am still fuming over the loss of that show..
I have almost 100 friends on Facebook who are too -we are on so many sites and campaigned to get it back.
we are now hoping to see a Moonlight Movie- since Alex's new series Three Rivers has been canceled- there was even a rumor that some network might pick up MOONLIHGT again and bring it back. GOD I hope that is true- You are correct, I don't have any interest in these new shows -none whatsoever. In fact I think that MOONLIGHT was the Last GREAT show that I have watched. I have yet in the 2 years found a show that I look forward to seeing week to week, That i make sure I stay home for - don't make any plans on Friday for. :-)
I loved Angel and was kind into buffy (I started watching both when they were in syndication, but I loved them.
Eliza Dushku- is awesome she was great on Buffy and Angel and I loved Tru Calling
I caught an episode of dollhouse but did not get too into it.. probably another I will only see in syndication- (It really sucks to work 3rd shift and not get to see anything because you are sleeping.)
In closing I just want to say - MOONLIGHT RULES!

I so agree! And it leaves me wondering what would have happened on the show. We need to get that writer and have him/her do it again! Or continue Moonlight and buy the rights to it.

I agree. I wish they would bring alot of them back. Atleast Moonlight though.

Yes, I definitely agree! Inquiring minds (and LOTS of them) want to know what happened after that door closed! And what about the list?
I'll take a follow up movie to answer the questions. but really renewing the series would just be better. :-)

I don't know if it's the writers or the fact that the good ideas have been taken..LOL..I like Supernatural pretty good and one of my favorite movies is Practical Magic. I would love to see more movies like that. I haven't been into a show in a while either.

Alot of the good ideas have definitely been taken but that just means we need better writers. I like those you mentioned too. Maybe one season they will come out with a good one again. I hope!

Actually I thought Eastwick was a decent show, but it didn't get the following they hoped and it has been cancelled. I was never a big fan of Buffy the Vampire slayer or Angel, but I did watch Charmed from time to time. All of these shows were more about the fantasy aspects then neccessarily good writing. Not to mention they were all on the CW or WB networks. These networks gave their shows that got any decent ratings at all, alot more of chance to gain a following than the big 4 networks do. There are and were much better written shows out there.

I think Buffy and Angel were fun in their conversation and so forth. And I am sure alot of men watched Charmed. Hehe. I enjoyed them very much and felt they were much better written than Eastwick. Eastwich hit me as a silly, second rate attempt at something. Wasn't that great! I only watched it because I like the genre not the writers. Thanks for your input.
