Higlighted Crystal - An ice crystal that I edited the highlights bringing them out greatly.

This is another ice crystal from my windows on New Years Eve. A drop of water had dripped onto a large crystal then melted into a larger one. I edited the shadows and highlights to get this almost 3 dimensional appearance. I got rid of all the shadows then brough out as much highlight as I could before it got blurry. Does this appear 3 dimensional to you at all? Do you use any type of photo editing software on your photos? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Aerial view of Mt. Everest? Well it does kind of look like an aerial view of some mountains or hills with snow... I do photo editing on photos that I scan in to clean them up, especially really old ones, but not very often on new ones that I take.

hi grandpa bob yes indeed it did look three dimensional. I am getting to the point where I am thinking of getting myself a camera, but shucks there are no ice crystals around here as its always way above freezing except for a short while late at night lately. I am wondering if Irvine ranch is having any' problems with frost bite on their produce. they ship out but also sell to our local markets, and their veggies are always so fresh and good, not shipped in from a zillion miles away either.

I am wanting a LOT better camera than the little one I have. But after $330 for car repairs and nearly $1000 for a fridge plus the Holiday spending, I am broke. Wahhhh! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I used to do a lot with photo editing, but I do not feel that I have time to do this lately. I enjoyed it when I used to do so. I would like to get back to more creative things in my life.

I do the editing late at night or early morning. I'm a night owl so I have a lot of late time for editing. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I already wear glasses, and put on an extra pair when doing my cross-stitch. What can I say? High def, 3-D, even stereo is lost on me.

pretty!:) i use photoshop, but primarily for my brother's pictures. this one band he photographs all the time is a bit heavy handed with their smoke machine, and it takes a bit of juggling to fix the clouded out image.

Hey GB! This is an acceptionally beautiful shot! It lookes like a pool of some white fishes~ I don't know it the big one is a shark or a whale, but the others are also white~ This is an extremelly professional looking piece of photography! It's always great to see a Master at work!
