Do you have stretchmarks from your pregnancy?

I do, since my first pregnancy and they're getting worse in every pregnancy. Ugh! So ugly to look at. Can't even wear two piece. I really envy those women who don't have them even after multiple births. My cousin said she was really scratching her tummy during her pregnancy but she didn't have stretchmarks. So I don't believe putting lotions, powder or not scratching your tummy would really prevent it from showing. Mommies who have them, how does it make you feel?

I got stretch marks after my first pregnancy. They lasted for about nine years. Then I got pregnant a second time. I was pleased to have a smaller baby and no stretch marks. Then after my third pregnancy I have stretch marks again and it is annoying. My first baby was 9 pounds 4. My third baby was 8 pounds. My second child was only 6 pounds 11. I don't wish to wear a bikini now that I have these stretch marks. My tummy feels like a saggy bag of potatoes. I hope to get it looking better in a year or two. I will wear a one piece swim suit for the time being and the near future.

I share your sentiments. It's really annoying to see those stretch marks especially when people commented on them and say they look like the skin of an old woman.

HI, I have two children... My first pregnancy showed a lot of stretch marks and it was also red as well... but after a year later, they were gone(I mean they are invisible from red to white and it is barely to see). I didn't do anything... it is just invisible. Im not sure cuz I lost weight or something but it is a good thing. I can wear two pieces :). Dont worry, you will be find... putting lotion is not the resolve sometimes but for some people, it works out so well.

Maybe it wasn't stretch marks. I believe they don't just disappear. They even stays.

I had (and have obviously) stretch marks from my pregnancies from both my boys but not from my daughter...How do they make me feel? I dont mind them..they are a symbol to me of the beautiful kids I brought into this world...Would I rather NOT have them..sure sometimes but I do so rather than dwell on them etc I take great pride in them more often than not.
