I'm somehow curious with those "Not-so-Interesting" Discussion yet they have so many responses and how SOME discussions that are NOT THAT interesting TOPS those discussions who are REALLY interesting.
Do you have any idea about this? What really interests you before responding in such discussion?

I really don't understand it either! And your own discussion is a great example of this. Here, you're posing a perfectly legitimate and interesting question..And it's been 9 hours since you first posted it, and not one person has responded (at least as I write this - because I found your discussion on the 'no responses' list). I think a lot of people respond only to the discussions on the 'top' lists, and it has a snowball effect: as the discussion first starts to get even a little bit popular, I think at that point everyone sees it on the "today's top discussions" list and freaks out and decides to respond to it. That's the best theory I've come up with!

That's a good point. I do agree with the part where you said that most people only response to those "top" listed discussions. And I wonder also how a discussion would go to the "top" list if no one really response to it.
Won't it be to unfair for those people who start their discussion but they are not totally being on "top"? How would they ever have responses then?
I'm confused... xD
