What is your opinion regarding allocation charge for the Unit Linked Plans

Now a days, there lot of insurance company's coming in to existence. Come with attractive and very impressive Unit Linked Investments Plans, from the investor they are collecting alloction charge from 10% to 60%, do you think it is right to collect such huge charge towards allocation, What about the investor's money when they collect such huge charge. I need your opinion regarding this.
