Problem with Email notifications?

Glad you brought this up. I thought it was just me or my computer. I noticed this started yesterday too. I feel like my eyes are going kookoo.

Hi whiteheather39! We're aware of the layout issue and you aren't alone. The developers have been working like crazy to make the notifications work perfectly so you may see some changes or inconsistencies in the meantime.

The emails I receive from My Lot nhotification via my outlook express are quite normal. Howver, I noticed yestyerday when I accessed emails via mail2web, that My Lot notifications were in a kind of html setting, which is not very readable. So it would have something to do with the settings on your email account.

It's great that GoAskAlice and mylot team are working out on this.. it's good to know; awesome. I have this problem a few hours before and couldn't get to open mylot and opening up the notifications too. Same like you..now I know why.

While I applaud myLot for giving us a choice in seeing the entire discussion or just responding, I wonder why they make everything centered to the right?! It makes it a bit hard to read till you get used to it. Like looking in a mirror! Oh well, it's still an improvement.

No, haven't noticed any difference but haven't been on much for a day or two either. let me know if you find out what is going on.

Yes, I am not getting very many and the ones I do, are messed up. Last night I tried to respond and the page would load for about 2 minutes.

hadnt noticed as I am haveing big problems with my puter so am on daughter puter and it is so different from mine its noe funny and sometimes I havent been able to put my answers in for the page just wont load!

Hi Heather. The only problem I'm currently having with the email notifications is that the title of the discussion is positioned to the right instead of on the left. Other than that I can read it just fine. So, is it just the emails from mylot, or are any of the other emails you receive doing this as well?

Yup--I've noticed this and I have to admit trying to read the email notifications all spread out like that is a nuisance

hi, sometimes the sender sent you with different format or they used different font in the letter so that's why you see it different way

I hadn't said anything here as it seemed there were already many responses but I am having the same problem. I use my browser and the notifiers of new started discussions are all messed up. The other notifiers for comments are as they always have been and are fine.

Hi there Heather yes I have as well I thought that mylot has changed the Emails to come to us that way which could be still the case but it is a pain in the Butt

I have not had trouble, once I got them to open, but for a few hours yesterday nothing from MyLot would open. It was not a browser problem, I don't think, as everything else from everywhere else would open.

Yeah, I am having a problem too. It's all justified to the right, instead of to the left, as one would normally read. If it was justified left, or even centre, then it would be OK, but this "right" stuff is just unnatural, for reading anything written in English.

I never used to get notifications at all - just the digest. Now I've suddenly started to get them. I guess the admin are really working on improving things.

Wow, that's very strange! i have never had such a problem! Mabe it is from the browser!
