Blog is like a Diary or else for you?

Hi mylottters! Until these days, i am wondering what is the meaning of blog for yourself? Well i mean function, is it more like a diary online or posting an information, news or etc for yourself? If it goes more like an online Diary, where usually people who have their Diary book which is a secret that no one may reads, it's the opposite things when you writing it online, or maybe for something else, like news, but if it's stands for a news or publish an information, then what is the different between blog and websites? Forgive me if it sounds new

I have a personal blog, that is for friends and family only. I have to say that it is sort of like a diary. I never did write in it daily, but I did add things in there every few weeks. I am now happy that I did it because the Lawyer needed proof as to when I had contacted my mom, and low and behold there were times, where I wrote how I had contacted my mom in there. So it does help to have a blog.

Can we set it to view for friends and family only?? Waw, how to do it? From blog you can contact and know your relatives condition, I see, it really help you a lot

I kept my link private to my blog, and just gave the link out to my friends and family members, that way I knew they were the only ones with the link. I do thank God, that I had posted things in there about my mom, and when I would phone her, because now we have proof.

Hi maxilimian, the blogs I write are mostly about myself - my thoughts, my mood, my happy moments, moody moments, etc. In real life, I am a quiet person, and tend to keep opinions to myself unless I am provoked to express my views, which will be almost always nasty ones. Haha! To me, blogging is like having an internal dialogue with myself. I do publish my blogs online. All my friends have access to them. You won't be able to find anything confidential like how much assets I have. However, my blogs will only tell you more about myself - the part of me who is not seen or felt in everyday encounter.
