Only A Month Away!

It is getting closer to baseball season, I can feel it. Every day now there is some baseball related story in the newspaper. Two of the Astros arbitration eligible players signed contracts yesterday--Jeff Keppinger and Chris Sampson. In a month the players will be in training camp and we will see pictures on the evening news of the workouts and then Grapefruit League games.
I know the football playoffs are going on right now, but for me that is just a diversion till baseball gets back underway!

I'm definitley ready for baseball season to start soon. I hope my team, the Mariners, can make something happen with our additions and resigning of Felix Hernandez. Cliff Lee should be dynamic and Ken Griffey Jr. will make a positive impact on the whole clubhouse.

Not many teams will be able to match the one two punch of Felix and Cliff! And I love that Jr. is back home!

I wish they hadn't removed the only free American sports channel available in Holland here. It was so fun to watch those guys with a net throwing balls to each other, it had some French name but I forgot it. It was also fun to finally see those icehockey players which you hear so much about play. And you could always find me behind the television when Lincecum ( brilliant name :P) or the new york yankees were playing.
UPC ( my digital TV provider) you suck... :(
