Notification is going out now for the 2010 Census. People are being hired and the operations are being set up. The question is can the Census be counted accurately? As far as polling and drawing districts up for political election the Census is everything. Will the Census accurately reflect the people? The Census has been accused of racism in the past and has been used by many groups to generate bias. Will the Census accurately reflect the melting pot which is truly America?

i for one think that any census is of pivotal importance to any community. this is because it is only by knowing how many people are living in a particular area thatt the government can better plan for supplies, schools, hospitals and other vital infrastructure. yes it may not be very accurate but i am sure that it is the best option at the moment.

It is almost impossible to know exactly how many people are in america. People wont answer the census, they will lie and they will hide because they afriad of any government entity knowing anything about them. What they dont realize is if you have a social security number the government knows where you are.
I remember when I moved houses and did not leave a forwarding address I thought the car company could not find me and reposess my car. But real quick they found me and my car and that was that.
In the computer age no one can hide might as well participate in the census.

not really accurate i mean there's really no way to keep tabs to see exactly how many people there are here in the united states. there well always be those that are here illegally that are fearful of being deported you will have those unaccounted homeless people that unfortunately are everywhere here in the states also there's just too many variables and unreliable data more than anything I believe it may be nothing more than just a good guesstimate.
