Does your dog/pet check on the kids?

Now, I have seen my dog do this before. But last night was the 1st time I think my hubby witnessed it. We were standing talking, and our dog walked by my hubby and pushed with her nose the door open to my son's room. She did her pass of the room and then proceeded to our daughter's. My hubby commented "We have a good dog"

My Grand boys who are twin's, have a Siberian husky and yes she checks on them and she checks on my daughter too (the twin's mother). She makes sure every one of them are doing alright. And she also likes to talk. I call her my grand dog.

hahah aww thats cute. Well my dogs kind of have a system it seems to me. When they arent sleeping the older one goes to my brothers room and the younger one comes into my room for a bit then she goes to my sisters room. The older one is getting lazy hahaha but he use to be in every room like the younger one.

We have no kids at this house now, but I do know our dog checks the house during the night, she is particularly interested in the status of the cat's food. sometimes Hubby puts the food on the floor if the cat is asking for food and he is fast asleep. In the Morning the dish is licked clean, not something the cat will do.
