i always get a TON of mail! every day! but yet today (monday) i didnt get any when usually i get more because we dont get any on sunday! i know i have pissed off my neighbors badly (they for some reason thought having a psycho dog running loose and not tied up and chasing people was ok and i didnt and called the county on them and im pretty sure they know its me) it makes me wonder because i didnt run out there as soon as he came (usually i dont even get it and my husband does hours later) that maybe they mess with it and took it..
i know that sounds nuts but considering the situation with the dog and the mailbox being in front of their house and not mine they could easily run over and snatch it and me never know! i figure i will know if it happens more often and then really get suspicious and until then not try to let my mind get too carried away with it..
when your mail box is empty and you always get mail do you wonder if maybe some one took it or just assume its fine and no biggie? what if you knew you had made your neighbors mad at you? would that make you paranoid or just make you think your being silly in thinking it at all?

I would not worry too much about one day, though I might keep an eye on the mailbox and go collect it promptly when I see the mailman tomorrow. If you're really worried, catch him at the box tomorrow and ask him if he delivered any today.
As for getting a lot of mail, if I am not ordering samples, I don't get much mail. I pay my bills online and do all my banking that way so I don't have to worry about theft or delays in the mail.

i get all my bills through online too but i get magazines and i also get payments from places that seem to have never heard of paypal lol and insurance stuff in the mail all the time so its rare for me to have less than 5 pieces of mail a day much less NOTHING out of no where.. i think it happens maybe 1 or 2 times a year at most but compared to the timing of this dog incident happening this last week its made me wonder.. i sleep during the day and so some times its not even possible for me to know when he comes but i think from now ion if i see it im gonna run out asap to get it just to be safe!!

Wednesday a lady from down the street (pretty far down the street too since there is a 100 difference in our street number!) came by and said she got our mail.. i was like omg thank you! especially since it had something from a fraud detection plan i signed up for that i had to send back.. that would have been horrible to have never known i was suppose to do paperwork and been paying for credit protection i wasnt getting!! drives me crazy though.. i mean 100 difference! 1 or 2 houses down but 100!??! wtf!

Monday was MLK day, so no mail would have been delivered. I wouldn't worry about your neighbors stealing your mail, unless they like junk mail. Do you have an old mailbox outside with a bullet hole in it? I go paperless whenever I can, if my neighbors stole my mail I would just laugh.

I don't get paranoied, just relieved and disappointed at the same time.
Relieved because if i don't get mail, I don't owe anyone money, and disappointed because if I don't get mail, nobody has sent me any money.
