Has anyone tried Slimquick?

I just bought the Mixed Berries weight loss packets that you add to water. I only need to lose like 8 lbs. that I put on from the holidays. I've been doing 1/2 hour daily of excercise and I think I need something else to help kickstart it-so I got this today..then I'm wondering..hmm, what if it doesn't work? It has a diet recommendation in there -it's only 3 days..and there's a website too. Anyways, enough of my blabbering. Who's tried this? What results did you get?

I've never tried it, however I have done a four day detox recently. I have started a discussion/journal on my weightloss journey this year. There are some really great tips amoungst the comments. Lots of peole that have walked this road before us have really helped me! The detox I did was natural. It wasn't fast, but It's stayed off so far! I started adding foods after the detox.
I hope that the tips that others have left on my discussion can help you, along with what you get here! I encourage you to stay the course! do NOT get discouraged. The weight gain didn't happen in one week and won't come off in one week. You can do this naturally and safely and permanently. I'm right there with ya!

Thanks for the positive comments. Did you not eat solid foods for 4 days? I can't imagine doing that and btw-I'm not desperate to get it off overnight. It took me a month or so to gain it..I figure it'll take that to lose it-with hard work. I am constantly keeping my weight in check and weigh less than anyone I know. I just don't want it to creep up like it did over the holidays. It's the most I've ever weighed. So far I have lost 2 lbs in a week. Which is what I'd hoped for.
I am only using the slimquick for a boost-it's got vitamins and green tea..so it can't be bad for you. Now hydroxycut and the like are known to damage your liver/kidneys-I know the dangers.
I'll have to check that blog out!

I ate a LOT! But I ate things like 1 cup of brown rice. 1 stalk of celery, 1 small salad, things like that. It took a few days to not miss food. I am journaling in my 25 lbs weight loss blog. You can get LOTS of tips from others there too!
