I'm talking about Brett Favre and retirement. We have been through this before. I don't think he will. Favre will come back another year and paly for the Vikings. If he would decide to retire I won't believe Favre is really doing it until he sends in his retirement papers and they are signed! Then I will believe he is REALLY retired! It has been a rollercoaster and this ride has to end one of these days!

I would love to see Brett Favre retyurn to the NFL next year.
He really brings alot of excitement to the game. He really did a great job for the Vikings this year.
The Vikings will need that type of quarterback next year in order to compete with the teams in the NFC.

Yes I agree the Viking do need a QB like him to lead the time and get them to the playoffs again. If by chance Favre would not return I don't think Rosenfel or Jackson are the answer at QB. So we will see.

I agree that I won't believe it until he sends in his retirement papers. While I was excited at how far Brett Favre got the Vikings this year, I have no patience for him to play will he or won't he this year. Let's be real. He hesitates so long because he doesn't want to be in mini camps. That was his deal with the Jets, that is why he waited with the Vikings...just decide already and stick with it! But I do think he will play again this next season. I believe he will be a Viking next 'year'.

I believe he'll play next season. You are right,Favre loves to avoid the mini-camps and did quite a bit when he was a Packer! I'm surprise he never tried to get out of training camps in the summer over the years! So whatever Favre does decides it won't be for for a few months!

He took quite a beating in the conference championship. I have a feeling he'll return for one more year but I also have a feeling he won't finish as well as he did. The Packers were playing pretty well toward the end of the season and just need to add a couple more playmakers to their defense.

Favre was pretty beat up form the Championship game. Once he heals up I see Favre coming back. I'm sure he'll take his time doing it like he has in the past. It is the Vikings problem this time around. With the Packers they need some work. It'll be interesting to see what they will do with the offense line, free agents and the draft.

Even though they lost the other night, Brett took the Vikings all the way to the playoffs and, from what I read, he really brought the team together. I hope he gives it one more try.

Favre did bring the Vikings together and they made it to the NFC Championship game. I expect Farve to be back.I would not doubt Favre will take his time to make his decision. He's putting the Vikings through hell right now like he did with the Packers two years ago.

I love Brett Fave. I am going to be sad the day he does finally retire. He said in an interview before the last game that he knew what he was going to do, but wouldn't say what it was. He did say it would not be fair to the guys to say, which made me think he probably would. I have always believed that he was looking for another Super bowl win. I worry what is going to happen because he was faulted with a play that could be considered to have been the reason they didn't make it to the Super bowl. I think it was wrong to be upset with him for not running the ball and trying to get more yards because he was hurt, but it doesn't work that way in football. It isn't going to be the same with out him. He is one of the main reasons I watch football.

I used to be a Brett Farve fan but all the crab he put the Packers though two years ago I lost all respect for him. I know he is a great players and one of the best QB's ever. Unfortuntely Favre has acted like a jerk with this going into retiremant and out of it so many time it makes a person's head spin! i'm tired of this soap poera and want it to end!
