Many people say being optimistic is the best attitudes in life because you tend to be more successful than being the negative (pessimistic) attitude. But is being an optimist all the time good? For business maybe you should have a optimistic attitude but how about in your relationship with others? Like your family, friends and etc. Do we need to be optimistic all the time? My point is that do we not need the the pessimistic attitude as of what people say they make a great downfall in our life or should we have it just to balance our self with the respect of relationship with others? Sorry for the confusion.

Being an optimist doesn't mean you have to be be unrealistic too9. It means always finding something positive about a situation. The silver lining of the cloud, as they say. It means never giving giving up hope on something. Because if you still have the capability to look forward to something, that means you can still work for a solution.
